Lucite International Europe is responsible for the European, African and Middle Eastern markets and operates from six manufacturing sites in the UK, France and Holland. Its range of acrylic based products is marketed under the two main brands - Lucite® and Perspex® from Lucite®. Until recently, the Lucite brand was best known as cast acrylic sheet for the bathroom and spa market but as part of a major investment to realise its potential, Lucite now encompasses a portfolio of products. These include Perspex, which is aimed more widely at the signage, homes and interiors market and Lucite Polymers and Resins aimed at automotive, lighting, appliances, architectural coatings, optical media, medical, and appliances markets. The brand proposition, 'The Source of Inspiration' is being used to emphasise the brand's potential to inspire through its inherent flexibility as a range of material solutions. The focus is on design, aesthetics and creative ideas that will continue to develop exciting opportunities through close collaboration with designers, customers and partners in the market place. With these developments, Lucite® now has over 200 solutions to its' name, giving it one of the most extensive acrylic product ranges on the market.
